    Boylan-Arcari Wedding Announcement

    Carole & David Arcari

Carole Anne Boylan and David Anthony Arcari of New Hartford, were married Friday, June 19, at the Old Lighthouse Museum in Stonington.

Tom Smith, of Cheshire, a family friend who is a justice of the peace, officiated the exchange of vows on the lighthouse lawn at the edge of the Atlantic.

Mr. Arcari, a graduate of Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. is a business analyst for United Healthcare Group in Hartford. The bride graduated from Central Connecticut State University. She works for the State of Connecticut in the Department of Developmental Services.

The bride is the oldest of three children of Caren Calway and Ben Boylan of Burlington. Ms. Calway, like her daughter, is employed by the State Department of Developmental Services, where she is a program manager. The bride’s father is vice president of Coface Services of North America Inc., a credit management services company.

The groom’s parents are Tom and Catherine Arcari. Mr. Arcari is the long-time animal control officer for Burlington, where the family lives. Mrs. Arcari is the retired director of human resources at Fletcher-Terry, a former manufacturing company in Connecticut.

Anne Kennedy Calway, of Terryville, and the late Sgt. Major Everett Joseph Calway of the Connecticut Army National Guard are the bride’s maternal grandparents.

The bride was escorted by her sister, Jennifer Elizabeth Boylan of West Hartford, Heather Riera, Alison Pace and Sara Culmone. Mr. Arcari’s best men were James Goetter and T.J. Arcari. The ushers were John Riera, Christopher Boylan, Patrick Cassidy and Edvin Beshi.

The couple chose to be married at the Old Lighthouse because the groom had proposed on its steps. They have spent many weekends and holidays in Stonington, where the bride’s family has a vacation home in the area known as south of the Cannons, near her paternal grandparents, James Boylan and Betsy Wade.

The wedding reception was held at Latitude 41 Restaurant at the Mystic Seaport.
