Carrie Elizabeth Pomerantz, the daughter of Cliff and Elaine Pomerantz of South Orange, N.J. and Kyle Arthur Halvordson, the son of Peter and Patricia Halvordson of Mystic are to be married in October 2015.

Carrie graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a bachelor of science degree in media art and design and a concentration in production/direction and screen writing.

She works as a senior creative producer at Ogilvy & Mather in Washington, D.C.

After graduating from Fitch Senior High School, Kyle earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in civil engineering.

He works as a structural engineer at Gibbs and Cox in Washington, D.C.

They will be married at the Mystic Seaport on October 3rd 2015.
