Richard and Nancy Provencher are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Dr. Katherine Joyce Provencher, to Christopher Wade Reis, son of David and Karel Reis of Westcliffe, Colo. The ceremony and reception took place at The Historic Pines Ranch on the August 8, 2015, in Westcliffe.

Kate’s best friend, Kelly Silvia, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Ally Butler, Meagen Robitaille, Lauren Driscoll, and Crystal Coleman. Christopher’s best friend, Jason Coleman, was the best man. Groomsmen included Joel Clark, Brian Reis, Adam Reis, and Jared Baker. Shelby Reis and Ariann Coleman were flower girls. Blitz Coleman was the ring bearer.

Kate graduated from East Lyme High School, Colby-Sawyer College, Roger Williams University, and most recently from William James College with a doctorate in psychology. She is employed by the State of Colorado as a psychologist candidate. Christopher, a third generation cattle rancher and national skills USA competitor, graduated from Custer County High School and earned welding certificates from Pueblo Community College. He is employed by the federal government at the Pueblo Chemical Depot as a mechanical maintenance millwright technician.

Kate and Christopher honeymooned in Durango and Telluride.
