Jaclyn F. Sheltry and Jonathan A. Marks were married in a private ceremony at their home in East Greenbush, N.Y. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017. The ceremony was officiated by the groom’s best friend, Anton Beza.

Jaclyn is the daughter of Joseph F. and Lorraine M. Sheltry of Gales Ferry. Jonathan is the son of Philip E. Marks of East Greenbush, N.Y. and the late Piera L. Marks. A sunset reception for family and friends was held following the ceremony.

Ana Granados was maid of honor and the bride’s sisters, Erica C. Sheltry and Leah E. Sheltry were bridesmaids. Wes Tennyson and William Liatsis were groomsmen.

Jaclyn is a 2004 graduate of Ledyard High School. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2008 and received her law degree from CUNY Law School. The bride is an attorney for the State of New York in Schenectady. Jonathan is a 2004 graduate of Columbia High School. He graduated from Fordham University in 2008 and is a self-employed businessman who also manages a local dental practice in Troy.

The happy couple returned to their home following a honeymoon to Croatia and Italy.
