Groton — The Elks Lodge No. 2163 will host armed forces night on Nov. 11, starting at 5 p.m.

The menu will include sliced sirloin with gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, salad, roll and desert. Cost is $10 per person, but veteran members and active duty get in for free. Seating is limited.

The guest speaker will be Capt. Paul Whitescarver, commanding officer of the Naval Submarine Base.
