8 reasons this Trump supporter is very happy

We the people have elected a successful businessman to manage a return to commonsense, constitutional government. After 10 months of President Trump's management, here are some of the real achievements. Liberals please note; reading this may cause you to lose your ability to accept the truth.

    1. A monumental increase in wealth due to a constant rise in the stock market, based on the belief that Trump's management is the right path to grow our economy — $5.9 trillion increase in corporate/business value; 62 days of all-time highs for the market; and further increases underway due to upcoming tax reform passage.

    2. Appointment of cabinet members with business experience and successful track records who are managing their departments, reducing bloated size, forcing their agencies to adhere to the laws, while replacing holdovers who are impeding this progress, and adopting practices of operational and financial accountability.

    3. Ending the EPA's practice of passing regulations without doing a cost-study as required by law. Removing regulations that were enacted illegally and which had created monstrous problems for businesses, farmers, as well as oil and manufacturing services. Making sure that new regulations would take into account the input of those to be regulated, with cost impact estimated properly.

    4. Appointing candidates for judgeships who interpret laws based on the Constitution, and on commonsense, which ultimately will stop the liberal judges from interpreting the law to suit their political views.

    5. Trump has restored respect for our nation throughout the civilized world by assuring our allies and friends of our support, but making sure they understand that they must share the cost of that support. He's established personal relations with the heads of almost every nation, allowing him to engage their cooperation in trade. He's made clear to the United Nations that America will no longer support programs that we deem unfavorable to us.

    6. The Trump tax reform, designed to return businesses and money to the United States, to restore confidence in businesses, and to give all of us more money in our pockets. Based on Trump’s success so far — with a rising GNP 3.3 percent in the last quarter, coupled with a 17-year low unemployment rate — we should see a significant uptick in 2017 economic indicators when they are calculated, and a sharp rise in businesses returning to our shores. How hypocritical and ironic that Democrats, who spent the nation into deep deficits, complain about Republicans causing deficits by providing Americans with a tax break.

    7. Trump has focused attention on our financially unsustainable medical care industry, and its insurers. By proposing health insurance product sales across state lines and encouraging business groups to band together to negotiate group insurance, he is doing exactly as the insurance industry recommended before Obamacare became policy.

    8. Illegal Immigration is down 71 percent, with the Trump administration exposing liberal "sanctuary city" programs that endanger the lives of American citizens.

The Day editorially extolls the Democratic leadership for their agenda of opposition. Democratic congressmen and women call for impeachment without any logical reason, other than calling Trump “insane and incompetent." Such opposition is poisoning the support of the moderate Democrats who are beginning to see the benefits of a government managed in a business-like manner and held accountable for its actions.

Democratic control of the presidency over the last eight years succeeded in changing the culture of many of our secondary school students, creating a disdain for our laws, for respect of police, for truth, for religion and family.

Thus, we have groups organized seeking socialist solutions from sports professionals who, in the mistaken belief that it doesn't matter, disrespect our flag and thus our country and our military.

To all who voted in 2016, please stop the hateful rhetoric. Our country is the least racist in the world. It's time for all of us to grow up, accept our leadership, criticize it when necessary, but don't give away your responsibility as a citizen by joining the "blind opposition" supported by many.
