State police seize 200 bags of heroin in Lisbon
Lisbon — State police seized 200 bags of heroin, suboxone films and about a half ounce of marijuana during a motor vehicle search March 12.
Police estimate the street value of heroin seized was $2,000.
The Lisbon Resident Trooper had stopped a vehicle on March 12 for an equipment violation and searched the vehicle for suspected narcotics after developing probable cause, according to a news release from the state police’s department of emergency services and public protection.
Police said three individuals were arrested on drug-related charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
