Stonington — Police on Thursday arrested the man wanted in an armed robbery on April 7 at the Dime Bank branch in Stonington borough.
Following the release of the suspect's name and photo to the public earlier this week, Capt. Todd Olson said detectives received information that the man, 47-year-old Victor Rivera, was staying in Norwich.
Rivera was located at 287 Central Ave., where he was taken into custody. Charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree larceny, Rivera was held in lieu of a $150,000.
He appeared Friday in New London Superior Court.
