Hartford — A New London man has been charged with threatening the governor.
Ronald Harger, 61, of Cedar Grove St., was arrested on a warrant and taken into custody Thursday, state police said. He is charged with breach of peace and first-degree harassment, they said.
He was unable to post $25,000 bail and was taken to Superior Court, where he was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
The investigation of Harger dates back to April. The details of the allegations were not clear early Thursday afternoon.
