Norwich — Police arrested a man Wednesday evening and charged him with failing to register as a violent sex offender.
Raymond F. Warren Jr., 58, of no certain address was charged with three counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
Police said Warren was convicted on May 23, 2002, of third-degree sexual assault and was required to register as an offender for the rest of his life.
Police said he was required to verify his address with police every 90 days, which he failed to do on three occasions from Oct. 10, 2014, to April 10, 2015.
He was being held on a $10,000 bond, pending his arraignment in Norwich Superior Court.
