Lisbon motorcylist injured in Norwich crash

Norwich — A Lisbon man suffered serious injuries when state police said he lost control of his motorcycle as he entered the exit 18 northbound ramp of Interstate 395 late Saturday afternoon.

Police said Richard Nelson, 55, of 40 Strawberry St. was thrown from his motorcycle at 5:41 p.m, as he tried to negotiate the initial turn of the ramp. He was brought to The William W. Backus Hospital. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Trooper Stanger at 860-848-6500.
