    Police arrest more than a dozen in felony warrant sweep

    More than 50 local and state law enforcement officials arrested 14 people with pending warrants for felony charges Wednesday.

    Norwich police, along with the Connecticut Intelligence Center, state police and eight other local police departments participated in the sweep.

    The charges varied from sexual assault to failure to appear in court.

    Alexandra Stewart, 22, of no certain address, Norwich, was charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court and violation of probation. Bond was set at $100,000.

    Jimmy Wiggins, 43, of 215 Main St., Apt. 223, Niantic, was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $25,000.

    Andrew Kiernan, 24, of 98½ Peck St., Norwich, was charged with third-degree larceny. Bond was set at $10,000.

    Jay O. Anderson , 45, of 25 Mechanic St., Jewett City, was charged with first-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $50,000.

    David Gamboa-Bordenave, 20, of 400 Asylum St., Norwich, was charged with reckless driving, engaging an officer in pursuit, travelling unreasonably fast and failure to display a marker. Bond was set at $5,000.

    Camille Cook, 24, of 26 Second St., Norwich, was charged with first-degree larceny and first-degree forgery. Bond was set at $7,500.

    Corinne Barboza, 34, of 330 Prospect St., Apt. 1, Norwich, was charged with first-degree forgery and second-degree larceny. Bond was set at $2,500.

    Dario Chicaj-Garcia, 28, of no certain address, Pawcatuk, was charged with third-degree sexual assault and second-degree unlawful restraint. Bond was set at $25,000.

    Lionel Dudley, 37, of 330 Prospect St., Apt. 1, Norwich, was charged with interfering with an arrest. Bond was set at $5,000.

    Debra Bunn, 23, of 110A Morin St., Danielson, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court and two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $37,500.

    Tomar Gibson, 23, of 21 Ripley Place, Apt. 2, Norwich, was charged with violation of a protective order. Bond was set at $2,500.

    Lamar Fluker, 37, of 32 Reed St., 1st floor, New London, was charged with violation of probation. Bond was set at $10,000.

    Sylvana Drouin, 35, of no certain address, Norwich, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court and two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $35,000.

    Joseph Clukey, 44, of no certain address, Jewett City, was charged with first-degree failure to appear in court and violation of probation. Bond was set at $122,500.
