Uncasville man arrested in sexual assault of minor

Uncasville — A man has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old juvenile in East Lyme.

Luther Huffman, 36, of 92 Depot Road, Uncasville, was charged Friday with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Division has been investigating the sexual assault since Nov. 30, 2015.

Huffman was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on April 14.
