    Walter E. Swepson Jr., of 187 Slater Ave., Griswold, was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and speeding.

    Montville

    Daniel M. Brodeur, 43, of 33 N. Main St., was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court, failure to return license after it is suspended or insurance is canceled, driving with a suspended license and stop sign violation.

    Robert J. Porter, 49, of 267 Route 163, was charged Friday with violation of a protective order.

    New London

    Natalie Rosa, 23, of 420 Jefferson Ave., was charged Thursday with second-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace.

    Gabriel Morales, 26, of 48 Crystal Ave., was charged Thursday with violation of probation.

    Michael Burgess, 42, of 15 West St., was charged Thursday with violation of a protective order.

    Christopher Norris, 46, of 76 Federal St., was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct and interfering with police.

    Alan Schrem, 46, of 19 Jay St., was charged Thursday with interfering with police and breach of peace.

    Susan Neives, 41, of no certain address, was charged Thursday with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Norwich

    Brian G. Kniss, 36, of 45 Merchants Ave., Taftville, was charged Thursday with third-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny.

    Christopher Winston, 23, of 331 New London Turnpike, was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school.

    Michael Knowles, 22, of 23 William St., was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, reckless driving, engaging an officer in pursuit, misuse of plates, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to wear a safety belt.

    Waterford

    Steven Stiegler, 32, of Clinton, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
