New London — A man who Groton Town police arrested in March on cocaine-related charges was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of sale of cocaine.

Kevin M. Hurley, 42, of 215 Clarks Falls Road, North Stonington, was charged in New London Superior Court Monday where he was attending pre-trial proceedings related to the March arrest.

The latest arrest came after a three-week investigation that involved the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force.

Police said his March 2 arrest, which resulted in charges of possession of cocaine, possession of more than 1 ounce of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, occurred after police carried out a search warrant at the Groton home where he resided at the time

Police said Hurley is being held on a $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court Tuesday to be arraigned on the new charges.
