Norwich brothers wanted in bank robbery in custody in New York
A New York sheriff's office has taken into custody the two brothers from Norwich who were wanted for alleged involvement in a Canterbury bank robbery, according to state police.
The 50-year-old twin brothers, Vince Rollins and Vance Coffin, both of 15 Clinton Ave., allegedly were involved in robbing the unspecified bank in September.
Police said the Putnam County Sheriff's Office took both into custody near Brewster, N.Y., on Tuesday. Both had active and extraditable warrants for their arrest issued by the Danielson Superior Court, police said.
Police said they have begun the extradition process and will charge the men once they're back in the area.
