    Groton City

    Greg M. Santora, 25, of 123 Poquonnock Road was charged Friday with third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

    Groton Town

    John P. Engle, 61, of 255 Midway Oval was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Jonathan J. Frye, 24, of 600 Meridian St. was charged Friday with third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

    Montville

    Colleen R. Tallay, 35, of 134 Fort Shantok Road, Uncasville, was charged Friday with violation of a protective order, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of a marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school.

    New London

    Michael D. Kydd, 18, of 26 Georgiana St. was charged Saturday with interfering with a police officer and breach of peace.

    Gerald Ariotta, 25, of no certain address was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment.

    Norwich

    Jose Hernandez, 40, of 13 Blackhall St., Apt. 2, was charged Saturday with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to obey a traffic control signal and tinted window violations.

    Earl Gray, 21, of 100 Aston St. East, Jewett City, was charged Saturday with reckless driving, engaging an officer in pursuit and driving while his license is suspended.

    Kevin Fontaine, 20, of 6 Cherry Lane, Oakdale, was charged Saturday with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor.

    Tammy L. Scovish, 40, of 646 East Main St., Norwich, was charged Friday with third-degree larceny.

    State Police - Montville

    Jorge E. Dias, 26, of New Bedford, Mass., was charged Saturday in Griswold with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to obey a traffic control signal and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.

    Christopher Abernathy, 47, of Guilford was charged Friday in North Stonington with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    Edward Bressette, 31, of 168 Route 2a, Preston, was charged Friday in Preston with failure to keep narcotics in original container, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.

    Ryan Hamill, 24, of 164 Ross Hill Road, Lisbon, was charged Friday in Griswold with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane.
