Plainfield — Police early Wednesday arrested a Norwich man in connection with the theft of three motorcycles from Motorsports Nation in May last year.
Police said Jordan A. Lanphear, 21, of Norwich Avenue, Taftville, was charged on a warrant with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.
According to police, Lanphear is the last of three to be charged in the case.
Previously charged were Jonathan Zadora, 25, of Manchester, and Mariah Ellison, 24, of Mohegan Park Road, Norwich.
Police said the three allegedly broke into and took the dirt bike-type cycles from the store in the morning hours of May 23.
Records show Zadora is facing several burglary and larceny charges. Ellison has been charged with multiple counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and larceny.
All three also were charged in relation to the theft of two motorcycles from a Weston Road residence, police said. That incident occurred just weeks before the one at Motorsports Nation.
Officers have recovered two of the three cycles taken from the store at 20 Excalibur Blvd. The unrecovered bike is a black and orange 2016 KTM 350 SXF.
Lanphear, held on a $15,000 bond, is due in Danielson Superior Court Wednesday.
Police are asking anyone who purchased a motorcycle from any of the involved individuals or who has information about the location of the missing motorcycle to contact them at (860) 564-0804 or to call the anonymous tip hotline at (860) 564-7065.
