New London man charged with evading responsibility following Norwich crash
Norwich — Police charged a New London man with evading responsibility after a head-on collision that occurred around 10:20 p.m. Sunday on Central Avenue.
Randell P. Sowa, 52, of 85 Vauxhall St., No. 4, was charged with two counts of evading responsibility with serious injury, evading responsibility, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, improper registration, failure to drive right, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to maintain insurance.
Police said the crash was a head-on collision, and a third car sustained minor damage.
Two people were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.
