Chad P. Smith, 31, of 12 Monroe St., Waterford, was charged Thursday with four counts of violation of probation.

Tasheem L. Mavis, 20, of 17 Tacoma Court was charged Thursday with possession of narcotics.

Benjamin M. Meadows, 22, of 972 Shewville Road, Ledyard, was charged with weapons in vehicles, driving a motor vehicle in violation of license classification and failure to wear a seat belt.

Shirley L. Herren, 32, of 276 Branford Road was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree larceny, credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card, criminal impersonation and receipt of money or goods by illegal use of a credit card.

Ann A. Penrose, 54, of 176 Grove Ave. was charged Tuesday with breach of peace.

State police - Montville

George P. Sullivan, 32, of 113 Lake Road, Griswold, was charged Thursday in Montville with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in proper lane.  

Stonington

Michael A. Carstensen, 36, of Bristol was charged Thursday with driving nder the influence of alcohol or drugs.
