Utility work to close section of State Street

New London — A portion of State Street, between Bank Street and Eugene O’Neill Drive, will be closed to all traffic between 5 a.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday while Eversource completes major underground work.

Vaults on both side of State Street will be open as a crane is required as part of the utility work.
