Norwich police arrest 2, seize 141 tablets of Percocet
Norwich — Police have arrested two city men they said exchanged drugs Monday in a parking lot off Salem Turnpike.
According to police, the Norwich Narcotics Unit observed Jonathan Fowler, 25, of 48 Lambert Drive, and Kyle Scott, 27, of 138 Palmer St., in the parking lot participating in a "drug transaction."
Police, who arrested the men, said they seized 141 Percocet tablets and more than $2,100 in cash from them.
Fowler was charged with interfering with an officer, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and sale of narcotics.
Scott was charged with possession of narcotics.
Police urged those who spot suspicious activity or have information about narcotics in the area to call the Narcotics Unit at (860) 886-5561, exts. 3151 or 3152. Calls are kept confidential.
