Norwich Police Department announces four promotions

Norwich — The Norwich Police Department on Tuesday announced the promotion of four members of the department and will hold a public ceremony on Friday.

Chief Patrick Daley said in a news release Tuesday that the department is promoting Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Ley and Sgt. 1st Class John Perry to lieutenant, Detective Harrison Formiglio to sergeant and K-9 Officer Nicholas Rankin to sergeant.

The ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. at City Hall.
