New London police arrest woman on narcotics charges
New London — Police arrested a city resident Tuesday afternoon after they said she was found in possession of crack cocaine and heroin packaged for sale.
Maribel Perez, 28, of 58 West Coit St., No. 1, was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics and two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
Narcotics officers were addressing narcotics violations in the area of Prest Street and Connecticut Avenue when Perez was arrested. Officers said they seized crack cocaine and heroin packaged for street-level sales, and $185.
