Mystic _ A week after he was arrested in connection with a stabbing during a drug deal, an Old Mystic man was arrested again Saturday night and charged with assaulting his male roommate.

Timothy S. O’Reilly, 28, of 207 Whitehall Avenue, Apt. 2, was charged with third-degree assault following a dispute, police said. He was being held on a $5,000 bond Sunday afternoon.

O'Reilly was already free on a $25,000 bond, following a Dec. 23 arrest in which he  was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 3 on those charges.

In that incident, Stonington police said a man and his girlfriend had gone to the apartment house at 207 Whitehall Avenue to buy narcotics from Alec M. Seekins, 21, of 207 Whitehall Ave., Apt. 3.

But police said Seekins stole money from the man’s girlfriend. An altercation then ensued, in which police say O’Reilly began punching the man in the head and Seekins stabbed him in the arm. The man suffered a severe laceration to his upper arm. Seekins was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace and is being held on a $100,000 bond with a court date of Jan. 16.

When police tried to arrest O’Reilly at his home on Saturday about 6:30 p.m., they said a Westerly woman tried to interfere in his arrest. Emily Gaccione, 19, of 3 Concord St., Westerly, was charged with interfering with a police officer and breach of peace. She was later released on bond .

But a little more than six hours later on Sunday at 12:45 a.m., police said they arrested Gaccione again, this time charging her with second-degree breach of peace in connection with a dispute in a car with her boyfriend. Police apprehended the couple at a Dunkin Donuts shop in Mystic. The boyfriend, Jordan N. Rosetta, 22, also of 3 Concord Court, Westerly, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and criminal violation of a protective order. Both were trying to secure their release on bonds Sunday, police said.
