Mr. and Mrs. Paul Begin of Old Lyme, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth, to Mr. Dale Quimby Jr., son of Ms. Diana Leary of Penancook, N.H., and Mr. Dale Quimby Sr., of Epsom, N.H.

The wedding ceremony and reception took place on Sept. 27, 2014, at Alden Castle, in Brookline, Mass. Ms. Lynne Blye, Quimby family friend, performed the ceremony. Mr. Brian Daley, uncle of the bride, and Mr. Brad Begin, brother of the bride, performed the readings.

The bride's brother, Austin Begin, was her man of honor. Brad Begin, and friends, Megan Lucey and Timothy Mitchell, also attended Kathryn. The groom's best man was Michael Porter. Groomsmen were Jeremy Corson, Adam Lecain, Adam Lowe, and groomswoman, Brittany Quimby, the groom's sister.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of East Lyme High School. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of fine arts degree from Emerson College in 2010 and received a master's degree from Boston College in 2011. She is currently a history teacher at Quincy High School, in Quincy, Mass.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Pembroke Academy, Pembroke, N.H. He received a bachelor of science degree from American Intercontinental University in 2011 and is currently employed as a software engineer at Merchant's Warehouse in Boston.

The bride and groom traveled to the Cape for their mini-moon and will continue their honeymoon in February in Cancun.

They live in Abington, Mass.
