    George Lopez comes to Foxwoods

Comic George Lopez (Scott Gries, Invision/AP)

George Lopez has dubbed his latest run of stand-up shows “The Wall World Tour.”

And he called his 2017 HBO special “The Wall.”

Lopez, who is of Mestizo Mexican heritage, knows a good comic touchstone when he sees it.

Lopez is bringing that tour to Foxwoods on Friday. Dare we say it will be, ahem, wall-to-wall humor?

"The Wall World Tour" will pull from “The Wall” special, and you can expect that plenty of Lopez's comic observations that zing Trump, among other targets, will make their way to the stage. An example of his one-liners in the special: “If this country wants to elect a racially insensitive person with no political experience, here I am.”

Lopez's HBO special is just his latest TV appearance. He has guested on pretty much every talk show, of course, and even had his own on TBS for a while, titled "Lopez Tonight." He had his own ABC sitcom, "George Lopez," and his own TV Land sitcom, "Lopez."  (Notice a theme on those titles?) And "The Wall" was his fourth special for HBO.

He's published memoirs, and he's been in films — acting in some, voicing animated characters in others.

So see him onstage while you can, before he heads off on another comedy project.

    George Lopez, 8 p.m. Friday, Foxwoods’ Grand Theater, $45, $55; 1-800-200-2882.
