Kittel & Co.’s 2018 album “Whorls” debuted at #1 on the Billboard bluegrass charts, but their music can’t be so simply categorized.

It’s a bit bluegrass, sure, but there are also elements of Celtic, folk, jazz, classical and more. Expect a musical feast when Kittle & Co. plays Connecticut College on Saturday during the college’s Fall Weekend.

Kittel & Co. consists of Grammy-nominated violinist-composer Jeremy Kittel, mandolin player Josh Pinkham and guitarist Quinn Bachand.

Jeremy Kittel, by the way, has worked as a composer-arranger-collaborator for the likes of My Morning Jacket, Yo-Yo Ma & the Silk Road Ensemble, and Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn.

Kittel & Co., 8 p.m. Saturday, Evans Hall, Connecticut College, 270 Mohegan Ave., New London; $22, $20 for seniors, $11 for students; (860) 439-ARTS.
