Finally, it is becoming Brandi Carlile’s time.

This talented singer-songwriter has been acclaimed for, well, ever, but this might be her most notable year yet.

In February, she was the belle of the Grammys ball. She was the most nominated female. She won three Grammys for her album “By the Way, I Forgive You” and the song “The Joke.” And her performance of “The Joke” at the Grammy ceremonies garnered a standing ovation and lots of effusive praise — deservedly so.

Then, this fall, she released the debut album with the Highwomen, the country group she is in with Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Natalie Hemby. It was greeted with rapturous reviews, and enthusiastic record buyers. It debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the country charts.

Carlile performs Thursday at Foxwoods, and if you have tickets, good for you: it’s going to be a great night.

Brandi Carlile, 8 p.m. Thursday, Foxwoods’ Grand Theater; $59.50-$99.50; 1-800-200-2882.
