Keith Urban is in concert at Mohegan Sun

    Keith Urban (Al Wagner, Invision/AP)

Connecticut has been living with the opioid crisis for a while, and several organizations — Connecticut REALTORS, iHeartMedia and WTNH News 8 — are joining together to create a multi-month campaign to raise money and build awareness of that crisis.

The highlight of that campaign? A concert by country music superstar Keith Urban, happening Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The show is titled “A Concert for Recovery” and will also feature Travis Denning, whose singles have included “David Ashley Parker from Powder Springs” and “After a Few.”

Ticket proceeds will be donated by Connecticut REALTORS to the CTREALTORS Foundation to provide charitable grants to organizations in the state addressing the opioid crisis.

The campaign will also include public service announcements, news stories, and a one-hour TV special that will showcase some of Sunday’s concert.

“A Concert for Recovery” with Keith Urban, 7 p.m. Sunday, Mohegan Sun Arena; $89-$129; 1-800-745-3000.
