    De La Soul, Digable Planets and Camp Lo play the same bill at Foxwoods

    The latest multi-act bill to play Foxwoods is “Soul Session” featuring a trio of hip-hop hitmakers from the late 1980s and 1990s.

    De La Soul, consisting of Posdnuos, Trugoy and Maseo, won a Grammy for “Feel Good Inc.,” their collaboration with Gorillaz, and they had plenty of charting singles, including “Me Myself and I” and “Say No Go.”

    Digable Planets was all over the radio airwaves with their ear-worm single “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat).” The group features Ishmael "Butterfly" Butler, Mariana "Ladybug Mecca" Vieira, and Craig "Doodlebug" Irving.

    And Camp Lo, with rappers Sonny Cheeba (Salahadeen Wilds) and Geechi Suede (Saladine Wallace), hit the charts with “Luchini AKA This Is It.”
