Coast Guard Band presents virtual Beethoven's 7th

On Sunday, the United States Coast Guard Band continues its "Virtual Concert Hall" series with a pre-recorded performance of Beethoven's 7th Symphon, a consistently popular work that contains four movements spanning emotions from joy to despair.

This taped presentation is under the baton of Chief Warrant Officer Jeffrey Spenner, the band's assistant director, and is an arrangement for a nonet of winds including oboes, clarinets, horns, bassoons and a contrabassoon.
