New London — The Science and Technology Magnet School is now accepting applications for the 2013-14 school year.

A series of guided tours of the school are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Nov. 7, 14 and 28 and on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The high school offers students a regional comprehensive program specializing in STEM education —science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The school also has partnerships with several local colleges so that students’ high school credits may also be applied.

In its eighth year, the school has become one of the leading STEM magnet schools in New England.
