New London – Police arrested a Waterford man Thursday who, after being fired from his job at Pizza Hut, returned to the restaurant and chased his manager with a baseball bat before threatening to shoot him.
Police later found Michael Johnson, 44, at his 15 Richards Grove Road home and charged him with breach of peace, third-degree assault, second-degree threatening and possession of a dangerous instrument.
Police said no gun was ever displayed during the 5:30 p.m. incident on Frontage Road. Johnson was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
