'Paws and Claus' fundraiser this afternoon in Ledyard

Ledyard — Ledyard Animal Control will host its second animal “Paws and Claus” fundraising event for needy animals this afternoon.

The event will feature photos with Santa for pets, children and families, as well as vendors, raffles, baked goods and Christmas music. The price of one raffle ticket is a donation to the Ledyard Social Services Christmas program. For a list of donations needed, visit www.town.ledyard.ct.us.

“Paws and Claus” will run from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Ledyard High School Agri-Science building at 24 Gallup Hill Road.
