UPDATED: Police identify victims in Old Lyme crash
Old Lyme - Three woman were killed and one man was seriously injured Tuesday night in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 south in the vicinity of Exit 70.
Tamara Nolin, 71, of Branford, Marjorie Minore, 90, of North Haven, and Barbara Prato, 63, of East Haven were killed in the crash. They were in a 2007 Nissan Maxima owned and driven by Nolin.
Police said Frank Sundstrom, 51, of Warwick, R.I., was driving an Oldsmobile Alero the wrong way on the highway when the crash occurred. He was seriously injured and taken by Life Star helicopter to St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven.
The accident occurred near three tenths of a mile south of Exit 70. The cause of the accident in under investigation.
