Blues on the Beach starts July 6
The annual Blues on the Beach summer concert series at Westerly Town Beach on Atlantic Avenue at Misquamicut starts Wednesday with the B. Willie Smith Band. The line-up for the season is: July 13, Johnny & the East Coast Rockers; July 20, The Knickerbocker Collective: An Amy Winehouse Tribute; July 27, Commander Cody Band; Aug. 3, Shiny Lapel Trio; Aug. 10, Jeff Pitchell with special guest James Montgomery; and Aug. 17, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, featuring Monster Mike Welch.
All concerts are from 6 to 8 p.m. In the event of rain, concerts will be moved to the Windjammer 321 Atlantic Ave. For more information, visit www.tunesonthedunesri.com.
