Robert Kim Bingham will present the riveting account of how his father Hiram "Harry" Bingham saved the lives of over 2,000 jews and other refugees on Hitler's death lists during WW II. In his book Courageous Dissent Mr. Bingham reveals the full extent of his father's heroic work which led, in time, to Hiram Bingham IV being commemorated on a U.S. Postal Service stamp. Our speaker served for 37 years as an attorney with the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) in Washington, Boston, and Hartford. His book will be available for purchase.
