The number of strikers and supporters outside the hospital on Montauk Avenue had swelled to several hundred in anticipation of the end of the L+M Hospital strike at 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013. Hospital spokesman Michael O'Farrell said striking employees' hospital badges had been deactivated at the onset of the strike and will remain deactivated until an agreement is reached.
