Dana Jensen graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications/Photography. She started her career as an assistant to a commercial photographer in Boulder, Colo. Later she worked for newspapers in Colorado, Utah and New Hampshire before becoming a member of The Day’s photography staff in 1998.
