In December of 2021, I'll begin my 30th year here at The Day, America's Most Underrated Media Organization. I've been the sports columnist here since 2001, after spending six years traveling the country as the beat writer for the UConn women. Got there in 1991 just in time to watch New London High destroy Ansonia in the state championship football game. Otherwise, I stumbled into being named the Connecticut Sportswriter of the Year four times by the National Association of Sportswriters and Broadcasters. I do a weekly radio appearance with Lee Elci on 94.9 FM and help out where I can with the gang on GameDay. I'm a 1990 graduate of Boston College and live in New London my son, Daniel. My hobbies include yelling at the TV during sporting events.
