New Foxwoods VP worked with Seneca Gaming
Tara Gregson will serve as the new vice president of brand strategy for the Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods, overseeing a host of advertising, communications and marketing duties.
Gregson has nearly 15 years of experience in marketing-related assignments and most recently was a marketing executive with M & T Bank, which is based in Buffalo, N.Y. She also has extensive gaming experience with the Seneca Gaming Corp. in Seneca, N.Y., and the Downstream Casino Resort in Oklahoma.
Gregson will report to Robert Victoria, who is the chief marketing officer for the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises.
Victoria praised Gregson's "creative spirit," saying she has a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. "Her experience will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to Foxwoods and MGM Grand at Foxwoods," he said.
While with the Seneca Gaming Corp., Gregson is credited with the creation of an internal advertising group to serve all of its business units. She also managed all of the internal and external communications there, including the Seneca Niagra Casino & Hotel, the Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel and the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.
"It's an honor to join the executive team at Foxwoods ... and MGM Grand at Foxwoods," Gregson said in prepared remarks. "I'm looking forward to leveraging my experience to develop integrated brand marketing campaigns that showcase all the wonderful amenities that the property has to offer," she said.
In addition to overseeing advertising, general marketing and corporate and consumer communications, she will be responsible for external marketing agencies and strategic partnerships for the casinos as well as other Mashantucket tribal initiatives.
