Pero, Sprecace and the whole council are fine

For the first time in 21 years of living in New London, I am proud to say that we have had a City Council that accomplished many goals, too many to mention.

Mayor Rob Pero has been the most outstanding individual and a man's man. He is a mayor who served the community at his own personal sacrifice.

I also admire Adam Sprecace as a leading force for making these changes take place. He is a man who could stand and support issues when appropriate and voice his own opinion in times of disagreement.

I would hope that in the next year people will see the truth of the past and see who wants the position for making a difference.

I will put my full force of support behind Rob Pero and Adam Sprecace at any point. These are leaders who work beyond expectations.

I appreciate the New London City Council and, most important, Mayor Rob Pero and Councilor Adam Sprecace.
