Celebrate East Lyme Schedule of Events

The String Theory School of Music of East Lyme set up a tent at last year's Celebrate East Lyme, which included mural painting as part of the Art Miles Mural Project whose motto is "Creating Global Harmony through Art."

9 a.m. - Sand Castle Competition (Hole in the Wall Beach)

3 p.m. - Event begins on Main Street with Carnival on St. John's Green

3 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Q105.5 kicks things off with a Live Remote

3 p.m. - 5 p.m. - CT Whale's "Pucky" The Whale makes an appearance

4 p.m. - Live food demonstrations begin

5 p.m. - Dunk First Selectman Paul Formica to benefit American Heart Association on the Town Green

5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Special appearance by Ronald McDonald at the Children's Area

6 p.m. - Great Niantic Raft Races (Hole in the Wall Beach) - enjoy the music of DJ Jammin Johnny

9 p.m. - Fireworks over Niantic Bay

Live Music and Live Performance Line-ups:

ProTek Stage: Music starts at 4 p.m. with line-up to include Marcus Worthington, Waiting For Friday and Echo & Drake.

McCook's Stage: Music starts at 6 p.m. with Katie Perkins running through the fireworks with a live performance by Black and White.

Arthur Murray Performance Stage: Arthur Murray, Gabrieles Karate, Jazzercise, Anytime Fitness, USA Wildcats, Eastern CT Ballet's hip hop team, Street Elite and more.

Jamkat Entertainment Stage (police station): Music begins at 3 p.m. with a live DJ and big screen videos of Celebrate East Lyme in real-time.
