Malloy expects to sign liquor law next week

Hartford - Gov. Dannel P. Malloy anticipates signing the legislature's liquor law bill sometime next week when it reaches his desk, allowing retail stores to begin selling alcohol on Sunday for the first time May 20, the governor's press secretary said today.
The Sunday sales bill also allows retail sales on many Sunday holidays, including Memorial Day.
