Woodstock upsets East Lyme to win ECC volleyball title
Griswold — Second-seeded Woodstock Academy won the 2012 Eastern Connecticut Conference volleyball tournament championship Tuesday night with a 3-1 victory over two-time defending champion East Lyme at Griswold High School.
The Centaurs (17-4) avenged a pair of regular-season losses to the top-seeded Vikings (18-3), winning by game scores of 25-16, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-20. Jillian Barlett had 27 assists for East Lyme and Emily Ennis added 11 kills.
