Bands perform at Phil Agins Berklee Scholarship Benefit

The Fifth Annual Phil Agins Berklee Scholarship Benefit takes place Saturday in Westerly's Knickerbocker Cafe - and a fine line up of local stars are performing to help the cause.

The Ohio Freer Collection, Sit Kitty Sit, the Amples and Cougar Kick will all take the stage in honor of Agins. A New London-based guitarist who played with the Royale Brothers and the Road Side Attractions, Agins passed away in 2008.

The scholarship enables a local musician to attend the five-week Berklee Summer Program.

In addition to fine tuneage, there will be a silent auction, merchandise, and food and drink.
