HIT THE SEAFARER'S TRAIL
Mystic River Acupuncture, 167 Broad St, Groton, will host a holiday open house and launch party for "Mystic Seafarer's Trail," a new book by Mystic resident Lisa Saunders, on Sunday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Meet the seafarers featured in the book; light refreshments and autographed copies available.
"Mystic Seafarer's Trail" takes a humorous and historical look at the haunts and homes of Mystic's famous sea voyagers-living and dead-and includes little-known details about Amelia Earhart's wedding in Noank.
