Stop using same terms over and over and over

Listening to the term "fiscal cliff" on various TV stations and frequently written in newspapers on the front page is somewhat depressing. The term should be moved to cloud nine, out of sight, out of mind. I suggest using "monetary mound" for a while.

"Kick the can down the road" should also be shelved. When commentators and reporters use the word "can" it reminds me of a game us kids played when young. Guys would stump on an empty soup can until it was attached to their shoe was popular for a while. We would then race around the block.

Sometimes we attached a can to each shoe. Does the editor think the terms should be changed or put to rest?
