As I mourn along with my mother, who is 240 miles away, about the tragedy at Newtown, one has to realize that the person to blame was Adam Lanza's mother. Any responsible gun owner has the requirement to safeguard all firearms registered to them to ensure any use of these weapons will require their consent. No parent would ever think their child could ever stoop to this magnitude but the responsibility remains.
